Missing fonts in flash player – SOLVED

OK, so since moving to ubuntu it has annoyed me that flash sites had
fonts missing (if the author forgot to embed them!) when using the
firefox plugin.

After browsing I found that installing gsfonts and gsfonts-x11 fixed this problem.

Themes at last

OK, so as every other enlightenment user on the planet I decided that I wanted a theme that looked just like I wanted.

Unfortunately I could never get inspiration. Until now.

“Flat-Curve” (please email me for suggestions for a better name). A
simple theme that promotes flat colour and reduces complexity to
produce a compelling and easy to use theme.

I have just uploaded a first mock-up, please take a look 🙂

Rock Climbing

OK, so it looked like I might not have such a hectic month coming up – so what was the best plan? take up a new hobby of course!

On Sunday we popped down to Alien Rock to get a beginners lesson on how to climb.

the end of the lesson (by which point we did not have strength to
continue) we had scaled a few full height walls, thrown ourselves off
from 2/3 of the way up (part of the safety training) and attempted to
climb an overhang. OK, so I attempted the overhang – Michelle completed
it, not sure when I will hear the end of that!

Needless to say that it was immensely fun and we will be returning again very soon.

Happy new year!

What a year it should be, hope you all have your resolutions ready…
